Please note that payment is not accepted by cash or debit. I have been in the workforce for several years and have lost contact with my previous instructors. Can I submit work references instead of academic references? One or more professional recommendations may be included, however, all effort should be made to include at least one academic referee. Can I submit more than two references? Two is the minimum number of references required, but you are welcome to submit an additional reference if you wish. In the case of being in the workforce for several years, our recommendation is to submit two professional recommendations and make every effort to obtain one academic referee. I have only one copy of my transcript and it is difficult to obtain copies from my university. May I submit a photocopy of it?If submitting a copy of a transcript it must be notarized. This requires that you take your original transcript to a notary public and have official notarized copies made. These must have the original signature and seal of the notary public, and be in a sealed envelope when submitted with your application. The application deadline is fast approaching and I have not received back the recommendation letters/transcripts. May I submit them later? It is important that we receive a complete application package by the deadline date. To facilitate the arrival of your information, you may submit your application package with a note indicating that your recommendation letters / transcripts will be coming directly to us from the source. It is helpful to indicate the institution(s) and name(s) of referees that we can expect information from. Please ensure that your full name and the program you are applying to are indicated on the documentation that we receive. Please note that it is your responsibility to make sure that we have received this information by the due date. When will a decision be made regarding my application?Once
the deadline of January 31st has passed, all applications will be reviewed
by the Graduate Studies Committee. It will be early April (or possibly sooner)
before any recommendations for admission are made.
